And he thinks it all started with a little sibling rivalry. Hirohiko Araki wrote the first chapter after completing the previous Baoh manga series.jojo's bizarre adventureyear 1987. Originally, Araki planned to focus on Jonathan Joestar's strange encounters with his adoptive brother Dio Brando.

But halfway through Phantom Blood, Nobuyoshi Araki found out about Fist of the Hokuto, greatly inspiring the manga artist to take Jojo's Bizarre Adventures on a much different path. From then on, Araki decided to make Jojo as weird as possible, starting with the protagonists of each story. Even if you're a die-hard fan, we're sure you've missed at least a few hidden details about the Joestar family and their allies. That is where this article comes in.
Kenshiro Jako nadahnut Jonathan Joestar
We briefly mentioned Fist of the North Star, but words don't do it justice. This is followed by Fist of the North Star (also known as Hokuto no Ken).Kenshiro - A crazy fusion of Bruce Lee and Mad MaxWho can blow things up with their fists! Kenshiro pioneered many staples of fighting anime culture, including "quick boxing attacks" and "you're already dead" memes.
Thus, Ken inspired Johnathan Joestar's designs and special moves for the Phantom Blood ending. Kenshiro also indirectly influenced the later arcade stand-up scream, further intertwining Fist of the North and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure!
Joseph Joestar is the only character that uses stand up and shake
After the tragic end of Phantom Blood, the fighting trends picked up. The central figure in Atit is Johnathan's grandson, Joseph Joestar. Unlike his predecessors, Josep wasdisrespectHis carelessness continually called his status as a fighter into question.
But in the end, Joseph becomes a true hero: he overpowers Ripple and defeats Kars at the expense of his left arm. As the third installment begins, Joseph is older, wiser, and has an understudy, making him the only character in the entire series to wield an understudy and Ripple!
"Yare Yare Daze" has no literal translation
Perhaps as a form of karma for the way he treated Lisa Lisa, Joseph had problems with his students.Jotaro Kujo.Despite his gigantic stature and deep demeanor, Jotaro was only 17 years old in Stardust Crusaders! Jotaro is still maturing, much to the chagrin of his allies.
You see, Jotaro hardly wants to do anything but stop and think. And every time he does something, he usually yells "Yare yare daze" in frustration. It turns out that there is no literal translation of this sentence. The closest approximation in English is "Give me a break" or "What a pain."
Higashika Josuke (from part 4) is Nobuyoshi Araki's favorite character.
Jotaro Kujo is without a doubt the most popular member of the Joestar family. But just because fans are excited about the character doesn't mean Araki feels the same way. In fact, Nobuyoshi Araki's favorite member of the Joestar family is Jousuke Higashika: a ruthless high school student with a mean hairy head!
Apparently, Araki wasn't that enamored with Jotaro, finding his nonchalance irritating. Rumors aside, Araki appreciates Jousuke's kind and compassionate personality and believes that the world would be a better place if more people were like-minded. return,You just can't beat the hairstyle. So elegant, it's true!
Giorno is Nobuyoshi Araki's fifth favorite character.
Giorno Giovanna is one of the biggest oddities in the Joestar family: he's the son of DIO (now capitalized) Brando, who has the body of Jonathan Joestar! Giorno is also one of the youngest protagonists in the story, since he started his strange adventures at the age of 15 in movie 5.
Fittingly, Part 5 introduces Hirohiko Araki's fifth favorite character. Like Jousuke, Giorno possesses a caring personality and healing abilities. However, Giorno also inherited some of DIO's characteristics, such as Brando's "Muda Muda" Stand Cry and his tendency toBrutally destroy enemies.
Jolyne didn't like Jojo's nickname at first.
Nobuyoshi Araki ensures that the cycle repeats itself. Just as a young Jotaro sends Joseph to hell, so does his daughter Jolene! asfirst heroineIn Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Jolyne tries to prove that she is just as powerful as all of her predecessors.

But it turns out that Jolyne is just as stubborn, going after and challenging others. Jolyne even refuses to let anyone but her mother call her Jojo, especially Jotaro! However, at the end of Stone Ocean, Jolyne also develops a fondness for her father's nickname.
The weather forecast can be used as a reference for walking Jamiroquai
The Weather Report is a strange character, and as Part 6 progresses, it gets even more confusing. Although not directly related to the Joestar family, The Weather Forecast miraculously obtained Joestar's birthmark! The guy has a really weird fashion sense, namely the huge hat on him.
But there is a path to Araki's madness, well, most of the time. Jojo Fans Believe The Weather Forecast Is Based On The Buffalo Man MascotThe British funk band Jamiroquai!Which makes sense considering how many musical references Jojo has. We also do not want to unpublish the Virtual Madness Weather Report online.
Gyro Zeppeli can see the stands before he catches them himself
Traditionally, the Jojo character sees the pedestal after manifesting. However, Gyro Zeppeli bucked this trend in the game Steel Ball Run, where he demonstrated the ability to control stands without having his own (at least at the time).
Gyro is the full trailblazer in Part 7, playing the lead role of the Steel Ball Run until Johnny shows up. According to Araki, Gyro and Johnny's relationship was meant to evoke the relationship between Will and Johnathan from Part 1.Gyro is Johnny's mentor,So it makes sense that the first one is the subject matter expert of the booth.
johnny got a bug bite
Do you know what ant addiction is? In short, it is a fetish that means that someone is attracted to insect bites. Hey, we're not here to take anyone down, especially since Johnny Joestar is a formicophile.
related:Anime Spring 2019: 10 watches and 10 jumps
During a talk at Steel Ball Run, Johnny revealed that bug bites make him hot and bother him. That's the problem with the latest Jojo Tales series: the characters are getting weirder, and not just because of the narrative or the villains they fight. But hey, that's what makes the manga more readable and the anime more engaging.
Josuke Higashikata (from JoJolion) has four testicles
To wrap up our previous case, we introduce Josuke from JoJolion: a charming man with severe amnesia, two pairs of irises, two tongues, and four testicles!Anime prefers nudity and explicit content. From the western anime, but let's hope we never see Jousuke's crap!
We know writers try to double down on characters with every new story they create, and yet it still happens. Like, okay, Jousuke's surroundings are weird, but that makes Johnny's bug-biting fetish seem flat by comparison!
